Commercial Monitoring Software
Commercial monitoring software is software designed to monitor user activity. Such software may be used with or without the user's consent. As such software is sold commercially; many anti-virus vendors do not detect them. The most common form of a commercial monitoring tool comes is the keystroke logger software. This captures keystrokes from the keyboard and records them in a log. Then, this can then be sent to whoever installed the software, or key logger, onto the machine. Some Commercial Monitoring Software may take screenshots or video and send out the information through emails.
IAmBigBrother is one of the first and longest standing computer monitoring software available on the market. IamBigBrother is useful for monitoring the activities of minors in the use of Instant Messages, Chats, Emails, Web Site URLs , while remaining undetected by the user. This software monitors both incoming and outgoing activity - so not only does the software record what the minor child types online, but what is said back as well.
Users cannot get around commercial monitoring software, by clearing cache or history - the software gets EVERYTHING as it happens, including passwords.
The recorded information can be read back after entering a secret password. Commercial monitoring software does not appear in the START menu, nor will it appear in the CTRL-ALT-DEL Task Manager.
